Hi! My name is Stacey Peterson and I own Mobie Photo. I live in Lehi, Utah with my husband and three daughters, and I LOVE babies! I’m pretty sure I have the best job in the entire world, since I get to snuggle them every day.

A little bit about me: I grew up in Salt Lake City, then moved to Logan to attend Utah State University and earned a degree in Human Resource Management. I worked in that field for a few years before my first baby was born, and I’ve been a stay-at-home mom ever since. I guess technically that is the best job in the entire world, but it doesn’t exactly pay the bills! ;) We lived in Saint George for a few years and had another baby while living there, and then we moved here to Lehi. Some of my hobbies and interests include reading non-fiction books, trying new plant-based recipes, green living, birth, and motherhood. When I was pregnant with my third, I got reading more about birth and decided to take a Hypnobirthing class and deliver my daughter at home instead of in the hospital. It was such an amazing experience for our entire family and I would totally do it again!

In 2014 I attended photography school and became a certified portrait photographer. Upon graduation, I took on every type of session: weddings, families, events, etc. It didn’t take too long to discover that my passion was in newborn photography and I haven’t looked back since!

Thank you for giving me the chance to capture these precious, sweet images during the first weeks of your baby's life that will help you remember how little and new she once was.  It is important to choose a newborn photographer who not only creates photos that you love, but who is also a trained and licensed professional in the industry and will handle your baby safely and gently.

I can't wait to meet you and your new little bundle of joy!  Here is what a few of my past clients have had to say about their experience at Mobie Photo:

"Stacey is just fantastic, and she was from the very first contact I had with her. She is so responsive, and communication is so important given that most newborn arrivals aren't scheduled! She spoke with me on the phone ahead of time to go over what I wanted out of the session and to give me helpful hints, find out about lighting, etc, And during the session, everything was SO relaxed! I personally recommend an in-home session if you have other kids. It is just pretty hard to get everyone ready and out the door. Much easier to have Stacey come to you! She was open to any idea I had, even taking some candid shots of my other kids while I nursed my baby. She had plenty of wraps and bows, and ideas for poses. Then, all the pictures were edited and in the online album the next day!!!! I highly recommend Stacey! The pictures are such amazing moments captured-- you only have a tiny bit of time while your baby is so young!" - Callie O., Draper, Utah

"Stacey is like the baby whisperer! She is patient and gentle, she even turned on white noise during the whole process to help baby be calm and sleep. She has a great eye and pays close attention to every tiny detail. So if you're like me and get distracted by the tiniest things in photos, go to Mobie Photo. You won't be disappointed!" - Valerie S., Salt Lake City, Utah

"Stacey at Mobie Photo is awesome. She is very professional and has a great business model. She is very easy to work with, very efficient and her turn around time is exceptional. I would definitely refer her to a friend. Great job, Stacey!" - Hailey S., South Jordan, Utah
