Baby E was in studio with her big brother, whose newborn pictures I took back in 2016. It’s fun to watch your babies grow up! Here are a few of my favorites:
You honestly never know what you’re going to get when a baby is given free reign over the demolition of his birthday cake. Some babies are very careful, only using one finger to move frosting from the cake to their mouths. Others cry, wondering why you are wanting them to eat cake. Some are too distracted by balloons or other decorations to really give the cake more than a few moments of their attention. But not baby Dean! He was the happiest, messiest, craziest, funniest cake smasher I’ve ever had in my studio. He was like a puppy digging a hole in the dirt! I’m pretty sure I’m going to find cake crumbs everywhere for a while. His parents and I were laughing so hard! Here are just a few images showing the progression of destruction.
I can't believe these twins are already one! I took their big brother's newborn pictures, then theirs, and I've shot every milestone session since. Let me just say that letting two walking one-year-olds have free reign on two cakes is a MESS! There were four of us adults in the room and we could hardly contain them! But it was so much fun and it has been so sweet to watch them grow. Enjoy some of my favorite images from their birthday session:
Baby J came back for her first birthday pictures and once again, I couldn't believe that another one of my little Mobie babies is turning ONE! There have been soooo many this summer and it has been so fun to see them again! Her grandma made her this little white romper (amazing!), and even though she wasn't in a very smiley mood, we still got some really adorable images! And she wasn't shy about making a mess of that cake!
I can't believe it has been almost six months since I did a blog post! YIKES! Since my last post, I have been taking so many birthday pictures for all of last summer's newborns. I know I say it a lot, but it is seriously so fun to see how much your little ones grow in their first year! Oh, and the other major thing since my last blog post is that I had my baby. You know, the one I was convinced would never come out. She's almost four months old already and I can't believe it!
